Currently Si Fu Marco and Si Fu Paul are devoting much of their time translating the works of Si Gung Chen into English for the benefit our western students.
GONG ZI FU HU QUAN
The original Chinese version of Gong Zi Fu Hu Quan, was published in 1986. The English version has maintained the same structure with the addition of a few explanations of some of the Chinese names and terms used. As much as possible we have tried to convey the sentiment of the original Chinese version, but many of the terms have additional meanings specifically when used in Wu shu terminology. Many of these terms, concepts and even names of body parts donâ??t exist in the English language.
The reader should be aware that there are a multitude of ways that some of the concepts could have been translated giving different but not necessarily conflicting meanings . There is also an appendix of Chinese characters and terminology for those interested in learning the language.
